Nigerian Afro-Fusion artist Burnaboy has taken delivery of his 2021 Grammy Award trophy.
Burnaboy won the Grammy Award early this year in the ” Best Global Music Album ” category for his 5th studio album ” Twice As Tall ” released on August 14, 2020 by Spaceship Entertainment Atlantic Records and Warner Music.
Burnaboy thanked his fans in a post he shared on his official verified Instagram page,
” Early Morning deliveries from across the pond! My parents prayed for excellent children, not houses, cars or ” things “. They asked my sisters for stellar degrees; one got a first class in Finance, the other got a Distinction in Engineering. They asked me for a Grammy, and here we are. I am a product of a sacrifice! Thank God and thank you all again! “.
