Burnaboy wins at 2021 Grammy Awards

Nigerian Afro-Fusion artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burnaboy has won his first GRAMMY in the best global music award category for his ” Twice As Tall ” album.

The Grammy Award is an award presented by the Recording Academy to recognise achievements in the music industry.

The Recording Academy congratulated Burnaboy in a tweet ” Congrats Best Global Music Album winner- Twice As Tall @burnaboy “.

Nigerian artist Wizkid also won the best music video for his song with American singer Beyonce, ” Brown Skin Girl ” taken off the ” The Lion King:The Gift ” album.

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held at the Los Angeles convention centre in the US.
